PPG: Math Tips for Parents
Wooten education specialist Mr. Casey, our beloved math teacher, will share tips for helping students with their math homework. He will share sites with steps for working out math problems to help verify correct answers and more. Come to discuss how to help your student do their best!

About the Event
About the Workshop:
A variety of resources and strategies are available to help parents help their children be better math learners. Come explore tools and tips for guiding students in working out problems and checking the answers. Discuss how to help students improve their math skills and keep them on point during summer and beyond.
About the Facilitator:
Victor Casey is an education specialist at the Al Wooten Jr. Youth Center, primarily teaching math. He has been a math teacher at the Wooten Center and other agencies and schools for more than 10 years. He has an AA degree in animation from Santa Monica Community College and is completing a BA in math at Western Governor's University.
