29th Vision Awards Dinner
Thursday, November 9, 2023, 6:30-9:30pm
Hotel Casa del Mar, Santa Monica, CA

See Candice above at our last dinner gathering in 2019 giving her acceptance speech for the academic excellence in reading award.

Our Vision Awards trophy is presented to honorees who made significant impacts at the center. We also present medals to Wooten student achievers like Candice.

Our Vision Awards Dinner is back in 2023 after three years of cancellations due to the pandemic.

We will be honoring our friends at HKS Architects and Loyola Marymount University for making a significant impact in helping us complete our renovation in 2020 and providing volunteers for our facilities and programs.

Our Catch the Vision Awards Dinner is a recognition and fundraising event presented annually by our Board of Directors to honor our friends and raise support for our programs.

Thank you to LMU and HKS for their support improving the interior design for our library, computer lab, parent room, and front office below. Both helped with our layout and set up, while HKS connected us with vendors Sherwin-Williams and Mannington Commercial who donated the quality new paint and carpet. Thank you to previous Vision Award honoree Rick Shlemmer, principal at SAA interiors + architecture, for donating the lovely white desks and black chairs for our library, computer lab, and office, and providing pro bono services for the full renovation design needs.

Note: Tickets are not needed for admission. Use the RSVP form to submit names for our guest list. Check in at the registration table.
