About the Event
About the Work Group:
High school seniors can get help completing college, scholarship, and other financial aid applications, including documents such as essays, resumes and personal statements. Help is available at no cost from volunteer advisors with the Southern California Council on Black American Affairs.
This is a hands-on work group with students working with advisors in Zoom breakout rooms for guidance applying for admissions and financial support. We recommend applying for multiple opportunities!
What to Bring:
Transcripts, SAT or other test scores, a list of your awards and extracurricular activities, social security number, and high school code. The advisors will help students obtain the code, if needed.
Parents Welcome!
Parents are welcome to attend with their students, if possible. For more information, call our office at (323) 756-7203.
