Alberta Moore has served as facilitator of our Parent Power Group workshop since our start to help parents address pandemic impacts. She will present this week's workshop live from Hawaii, sharing her experiences and recommendations there and how trips like this can serve as a much needed respite.

About Our Presenter:
Alberta Brinson Moore is a founding member of the Loyola Marymount University African American Alumni Association and the National Association for African American Parents and Youth (NAAAPY). She has a master's degree in behavior science and negotiation and conflict management from CSU Dominguez Hills and a bachelor's in urban studies from Loyola.
She is a very active parent and community advocate, serving on the board of the Randal Simmons Outreach Foundation, the advisory community for the South Central Los Angeles Regional Center and Los Angeles Speaker. She is co-chair of the education committee for the Community Response System of South Los Angeles.
