The Wooten Center held our annual Christmas card art and poetry contest this year with the theme, "Giving Thanks Together." Congratulations to Alexia Cadena for winning 1st place for our cover design based on this theme. Alexia's mom Carina said Alexia has been sketching a few years. "She's been using Procreate to sketch on her iPad and she loves it!"
 

"I chose a canned food drive because during this time of year, Thanksgiving and Christmas, there is usually a bunch of food drives," Alexia said. "So me and my sister go to the store and try to bring whatever we can. This is giving thanks to our community together."
